بررسی رابطه مقایسه اجتماعی و بهزیستی روان¬شناختی دانشجویان: نقش واسطه¬¬ای عزت¬نفس

چکیده مقاله :

هدف از پژوهش حاضر، ارائه یک مدل علَی از مقایسه اجتماعی و بهزیستی روان­شناختی به واسطه عزت­نفس است. شرکت­کنندگان در این پژوهش 300  نفر از دانشجویان مقطع کارشناسی دانشگاه شیراز بودند که به روش خوشه­ای چند مرحله­ای انتخاب شدند. ابزار پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه مقایسه اجتماعی (گیبونز و بونک، 1999)، بهزیستی روان­شناختی (ریف، 1989) و پرسشنامه عزت نفس (کوپر اسمیت، 1976) بوده است. مدل پیشنهادی پژوهش با استفاده از مدل­یابی معادلات ساختاری با استفاده از نرم­افزار AMOS  تحلیل شد. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که اثر مستقیم مقایسه اجتماعی بر بهزیستی روان­شناختی معنی­دار نیست بلکه مقایسه اجتماعی به صورت غیرمستقیم و به واسطه عزت­نفس پیش­بینی­کننده بهزیستی روان­شناختی است. طبق نتایج به دست آمده، مقایسه اجتماعی رابطه معکوس با عزت­نفس دارد و عزت­نفس رابطه مستقیم با بهزیستی روان­شناختی دارد. بر اساس نتایج پژوهش می­توان گفت که عزت­نفس نقش واسطه‌ای در تأثیر مقایسه اجتماعی بر بهزیستی روان­شناختی دانشجویان دارد. 

چکیده انگلیسی :

The aim of this research is to provide a causal model of social comparison and psychological well-being through self-esteem. The participants in this research were 300 undergraduate students of Shiraz University who were selected by a multi-stage cluster method. The research tools included social comparison questionnaire (Gibbons & Buunk, 1999), psychological well-being (Ryff, 1989) and self-esteem questionnaire (Coopersmith, 1976). The research model was analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) using AMOS. The results showed that social comparison is a predictor of psychological well-being through mediating factor. The social comparison has no significant direct effect on psychological well-being. The result showed that social comparison has a negative effect on self-esteem and self-esteem has a positive relation with psychological well-being. Based on the results, the mediating role of self-esteem was approved. It can be concluded that psychological well-being is influenced by social comparison and self-esteem.
