The results of the analysis of the research hypothesis showed that the proposed model had a good fit and the effect of the basic psychological needs on the intrinsic value of the task (P<0.01) and academic engagement (P<0.01) as well as the effect of the intrinsic value of the assignment on the academic enthusiasm (P<0.01) was positive. And it was meaningful. Also, the mediating role of the intrinsic value of the task was significant (P<0.01). According to the results of the research, it can be concluded that the basic psychological needs and the intrinsic value of the task are important antecedents of academic enthusiasm.
