Abstract :
This study was conducted with the aim of modeling the structural relationships of moral judgment and moral behavior and investigating the mediating role of moral foundations and empathy. The statistical population of the research included all the students of Islamic Azad University of Shahrari branch in the academic year of 1402-1403. From this community, 200 students were selected by available sampling method. Data collection tools included Rust's (1973) short form of moral stories, Swanson and Hill's (1993) 15-item moral behavior inventory, Haight and Graham (2007) 32-item questionnaire and Mehrabian and Epstein's (1972) empathy scale. Data analysis was done using Spearman's correlation in spss_27 program and structural equation analysis in smart_pls program. Data analysis showed that moral judgment has a direct effect on moral behavior Also, the mediating role of moral foundations in the relationship between moral judgment and moral behavior is rejected But empathy is a mediator between moral judgment and moral behavior.
