The aim of the present study was to determine the relationship between parental perfectionism, academic burnout, and resilience in second-grade elementary school students. The statistical population of this research included all second-grade students in District 3 of Qom city during the academic year 2022-2023, totaling 7,153 students. Using Morgan’s sample size table, 360 students were chosen through a convenience sampling method. This research was descriptive and correlational in nature. For data collection, the Short Perfectionism Questionnaire (SPQ), the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), and the Academic Burnout Questionnaire (ABQB) were utilized. Multiple regression analysis indicated a significant relationship between parental perfectionism and both academic burnout and resilience in students. Additionally, a relationship was found between resilience and academic burnout. The results may shed new light on the connections between parental perfectionism and academic burnout and resilience in students.
