Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to construct and validate a scale for measuring the attitude towards childbearing among childless working women. The research population consisted of all working women in Golpayegan who were working in public and private jobs in 1401-1402. Sampling was done based on the available method and among 239 of these women. After checking the validity of form and content and removing similar questions, the questionnaire for measuring attitude towards childbearing was designed as a 76-question version. After implementing factor analysis, 15 basic factors were obtained, and these 15 factors explained 79.86% of the variance of the questionnaire. Finally, after Varimax rotation and removing one factor, the questionnaire was confirmed with 14 final factors and appropriate factor loadings above 0.50. Cronbach's alpha was 0.96. Therefore, the items have a suitable internal coordination, which shows the appropriate reliability of the tool. In measuring the retest reliability of the scale, the level of coordination and correlation was 0.74, which shows a good level of response similarity and stability.
