Abstract :
The present research was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between outcome expectations and academic values with students' academic adjustment. The method of this research was descriptive correlation type. The statistical population included all male and female undergraduate students of Sistan-Baluchistan University in the second semester of 1402-1401 academic year, of which 229 female students and 153 male students were selected as samples by stratified random sampling method. The measurement tools were Baker and Seriak's (1984) academic compatibility questionnaires, Shafi Naderi et al.'s outcome expectation (2013) and Pintrich et al.'s (1993) academic values. Data analysis was done using the statistical method of Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise regression with SPSS software. The results showed that outcome expectation and its components as well as academic values and its components have a positive and significant relationship with academic adjustment and are a positive predictor for academic adjustment. Therefore, to improve academic adaptation, it is important to consider outcome expectations and academic values as effective factors of academic outcomes.
