The purpose of this study was to develop a mindfulness training package and to explore its effectiveness on the wellbeing of Afghan adolescents living in Iran. The population of this study was comprised of all Afghan students (male and female) who were at high school in Tehran during 1396-97. The data quantitative and qualitative data were collected using the mixed method data collection. Ryff's Psychological Wellbeing Scale (1989) and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (1965) were used in this study. The results of the co-variance analyses indicated that mindfulness training had a significant effect on the wellbeing of participants. Manuscript profile

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the structural relationship between sport mindfulness and competitive anxiety, and the mediating role of emotion regulation strategies. The method of this research was descriptive and correlational. Two hundred volunteers from different teams participated in this research. Sports Mindfulness Questionnaire (Thienot et al 2014), Cognitive Emotional Regulation Strategies Questionnaire (Garnefski et al 2002) and Competitive State Anxiety Inventory (Cox et al 2003) were used for data collection. Data were analyzed using the structural equation modeling method using Smart PLS 2.0 software. The results showed that there was a significant negative correlation between sports mindfulness and competitive anxiety. Also, the sport mindfulness through adaptive strategies of emotional regulation had a significant relationship with competitive anxiety of athletes. Overall, the findings of this study showed that special attention to the sport mindfulness is important, because the sport mindfulness is not only directly, but also indirectly could reduce the competitive anxiety of athletes by increasing the use of adaptive strategies of emotional regulation as a mediator variable. The present study aimed to explain the mindfulness with due attention to emotion regulation and Behavioral Inhibition/Activation Systems among university students. The statistical population of this study is all university students of Bu-Ali Sina University in Hamadan in the academic year 2018-2019. 373 subjects were selected by Convenience sampling method sampling method. Students completed Fariburg mindfulness questionnaire, Caro & White behavioral inhibition/ activation systems questionnaire, and Gross & John Emotion regulation Strategies Questionnaire. Pearson correlation and Structural equation modeling were used for data analysis were used To analyze the data. The results showed that behavioral inhibition system has a direct negative effect on Mindfulness (P<0/01). The behavioral activation system has a direct positive effect on mindfulness(P <0/01). Reassessment of excitement has a direct positive effect on mindfulness (P <0/01). Emotional suppression has a direct negative effect on Mindfulness. (P <0/01). According to the findings, it can be concluded that behavioral activation inhibitory system and re-evaluation and Emotional suppression are variables that determine levels of mindfulness. The proposed model has a good fit with the data. Manuscript profile

Objective child eating problems, as one of the important factors that affect the development and performance of the person, is affected by many environmental and relational factors including mother psychological component and child emotion regulation. The main purpose of this study was to develop the modelling of child emotional eating based on attachment style, mindfulness eating, and mother beliefs with mediating role of child emotion regulation. Method: The participants of this study were 250, 11-12 year students (100 male and 150 female) studding in Urmia schools with their mothers. Mothers completed the attachment style, mindfulness eating and mother beliefs questionnaires and children completed emotional eating and emotion regulation questionnaires. Results: The results of the data analysis with SPSS and Lisrel revealed that due to attachment style, mindfulness eating, mother beliefs and child emotion regulation can significantly predict child emotional eating. The Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA = 0.016) and the Comparative Fit Index (CFI = 0.95) were optimal. Conclusion: This model determines that mother and child components affected child emotional eating and these elements should be taken into consideration in dealing with the causes and treating child emotional eating.
