        This research aims to investigate the structural relationship between child abuse and emotion dysregulation with symptoms of borderline personality disorder three hundred and seventy seven participants were chosen from Shiraz university students through convenience sampling method. All participants completed Child Abuse Questionnaire, Difficulties in Emotion Dysregulation Scale and Schizotypal Trait Questionnaire (B form). Data were analyzed using SMART-PLS software and multiple regression. Findings suggest that among main types of child abuse, neglect relates to symptoms of borderline personality disorder directly and indirectly through emotion dysregulation as mediator variable. In addition, child emotional and sexual abuse both indirectly relate to symptoms of borderline personality disorder, through emotion dysregulation as mediator variable. Manuscript profile

        The present study investigated the relationship between relationship beliefs and couple burnout and the role of mindfulness as a possible mediating variable. Method of the present study was correlational and all married people in Yazd city were considered as the statistical population with a sample size of 380 subjects (200 females & 180 males) who were selected through available sampling method in 2016. The participants completed Belief Inventory (RBI), Mindfulness, Attention and Awareness Scale (MAAS), and Couple Burnout Measure (‎CBM). As data analysis showed that, there was a significant negative relationship between mindfulness and the relationship beliefs subscales “disagreement is destructive to a relationship”, “partners cannot change themselves and their relationship”, “one should be sexually perfect”, and “there are differences between males’ and females’ personalities and relationship needs”. Also, there was a negatively significant relation between mindfulness and couple burnout. The findings also indicated that relationship beliefs subscales were positively related to couple burnout. In addition, data from path analysis indicated that mindfulness plays a mediating role in relationship between irrational relationship beliefs and couple burnout. Manuscript profile
