The present study aims to investigate the mediator role of locus of control in the relationship between early maladaptive schemas and social anxiety in adolescents. The statistical population included all male and female students of studying in state and non-state high schools in Rasht District 1 in the academic year 2015-16. In a cross-sectional cluster sampling selected 400 students and responded to Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents (SAS-A), Yang Maladaptive Schemas Questionnaire and Rutter Locus of Control Scale. The collected data were analyzed by using Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients, Mediation hierarchical regression analysis with Baron and Kenny method. Pearson correlation analyses indicate a significant positive relationship between schemas of Disconnection/Rejection domain, Impaired Autonomy and/or Performance domain, Impaired Limits domain, Other-Directedness domain, Overvigilance/Inhibition domain and social anxiety, with values of 0.60, 0.55, 0.39, 0.54, 0.50 respectively. The results also revealed that this association, locus of control is not capable to modifying of the relationship between social anxiety and early maladaptive schemas (in any of domains). The purpose of the current study to examine the effect of group based reality therapy was on choice theory on increasing of social adjustment and self- regulation in adolescents. Samples were 24 students 14-18 old, that obtained low scores in California Personality Inventory(CPI) and Self- Regulation Questionnaire(SRQ), and selected and devise to experimental and control groups by random sampling. Procedure the experimental group participated in 8 sessions group reality therapy and each session lasted about 90 minutes, but the control group did not participate in there sessions. The data analyzed by multivariate analysis of covariance method, and showed that there were a significant difference between means in experimental and control groups. The results of this research showed that reality therapy group as an education and treatment can be effective in increasing social adjustment and self- regulation. Manuscript profile

This study investigated the mediating role of resilience on the relationship between family communication patterns (including conversation orientation and conformity orientation) and motivational regulation (including interest enhancement, self-consequating, environmental control, mastery self-talk and performance self- talk). Participants were 572 high school students (290 boys and 282 girls) in Shiraz city selected through multistage cluster sampling method. Structural equation modeling using AMOS software revealed that conversation orientation and conformity orientation can positively predict motivational regulation. However conversation orientation was much stronger than conformity orientation. Conformity orientation predicted motivational regulation directly but the association between conversation orientation and motivational regulation was indirect and mediated by resilience. The purpose of the current study was to investigate the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between death anxiety and general health. The method of this study was descriptive and in the framework of correlation of study of the path analysis. The population was all adolescents aged 14 to 18 year olds living in Iraqi-ISIS war refugee camps located in the Dibegh Erbil district of Kurdistan, Iraq in 2017, (520, N) and were selected by simple random sampling and 219 adolescents were selected. The participants responded to the Death Anxiety Scale (Templer, 1970), General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) (Goldberg and Hiller, 1979), and Resilience Scale (Connor and Davidson 1979-1991). The data was analysed through a path analysis correlation. Results confirmed the negative relationship between EA and resilience, showing the favorable fit of the pattern of the relationship between death anxiety and general health anxiety and the mediating role of resilience among them. According to the results, due to resilience, death anxiety of adolescents affected by war can be reduced and steps can be taken in improving their general health. Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was to determine the psychometric properties of the quality of life questionnaire related to the health of Iranian adolescents with congenital heart disease. Participants were 180 adolescents aged 13 to 18 years with congenital heart disease and their parents who referred to Shahid Rajaei Heart Hospital. Instruments were health-related quality of life questionnaire (PedsQL™) and general version quality of life questionnaire (PedsQL™) and general anxiety section of CSI-4 questionnaire. Factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha and Pearson correlation were used to analyze the data to evaluate the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. The findings of factor analysis indicated 7 factors in the Adolescent Questionnaire and the Proxy Report Questionnaire. The Adolescent and Proxy Health Quality of Life Questionnaires have an acceptable validity in Iranian society and can be used to assess their quality of life. Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of cognitive rehabilitation package on cognitive damages reduction in active adolescents in cyberspace. The research method was exploratory mixed (qualitative-quantitative). For this purpose, by using the thematic analysi, by studying articles and interviewing professors and active adolescents in cyberspace, damages were identified. Based on the identified cognitive damages, a rehabilitation package (in four areas: attention, information processing, thinking and social cognition) was developed to reduce adolescents' cognitive damages in cyberspace, to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed package, a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group and a control group of pre-test, post-test and follow-up were used. 40 active girls in cyberspace in Arak who were screened by the pathology inventory constructed, were selected by purposive method and 20 were randomly assigned to the experimental group and 20 to the control group. The results of mixed analysis of variance showed that the implementation of the developed package improved the performance of the experimental group in attention, information processing, thinking and social cognition (p <0.001). It can be concluded that the developed cognitive rehabilitation package is also effective for improving the cognitive damages of adolescents in cyberspace. Manuscript profile

The aim of this study was determining the efficacy of self-advocacy training on communication skills of adolescents with chemotherapy/ radiotherapy induced alopecia. The method of present study was quasi experimental single-subject with pre-test, post-test and two-week and one-month follow-ups. The statistical population of the study consisted of all adolescents aged 12-15 years with chemotherapy/ radiotherapy alopecia in Tehran in 1400. The sample group consisted of 4 adolescents with chemotherapy/ radiotherapy alopecia, who were selected by available sampling method and taking into account the inclusion criteria. The self-advocacy training intervention program was implemented in 5 sessions and the participants responded to the communication skills questionnaire (Attarha, 2007) in two stages, the baseline (A) and the experimental stage (B). SPSS and T test were used for data analysis, and t-test results illustrated the significant effect of self-advocacy training on communication skills and its subscales in adolescents with alopecia due to chemotherapy/ radiotherapy. Therefore, it can be concluded that self-advocacy training due to self-awareness, communication skills and leadership training can lead to the promotion of communication skills of adolescents with alopecia due to chemotherapy/ radiotherapy.
