Abstract The aim of this research is to compare resilience and stress coping strategies among Volunteers participated in anti-ISIS warfare and soldiers. The research method is descriptive and causal-comparative type. The statistical population of the study is all Kurdish soldiers and volunteers in three provinces of Halabja, Sulaimani and Erbil in the region of Kurdistan/Iraq who participated in ISIS warfare. In this study, 180 men, aged 20-50 years old, are selected as samples, they are divided into two groups of 90 (90 soldiers) and (90 volunteers), then the Conner and Davidson’s resilience questionnaire and Andler & Parker’s are used to show stress coping strategies. The data are collected and analyzed by t-test and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results shows that on resilience scale, the significant level between volunteers and soldiers is bigger than 0.01, which means that there is no difference in terms of resilience between volunteers and soldiers. But there is a significant difference between volunteers and soldiers in coping strategies (p0/01). The problem-oriented style is (P = 0.01 and F = 8.474) and the avoidance-oriented style is (p = 0.01 and F = 6.751). But the F value obtained for emotion-oriented is (0/008) and the significance level is 930/0. Therefore, there is no difference in the emotion-focused. The conclusion of the main findings of this research confirms that organizing special training courses to enhance resilience and helping volunteers and soldiers to reduce war stress is recommended. Considering that the health of soldiers is important for working in the security places and their major role in dealing with enemies and protecting the country. Planning to train the appropriate coping methods and encouraging all soldiers to use the appropriate approach to deal with stress situations is beneficial. Manuscript profile

The instruments being applied in the study consisted of Authentic Leadership Inventory (ALI) (Walumbwa et al 2008), Areas of Worklife Scale (Leiter and Maslach), Occupational Coping Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (Peasanti et al), and Burnout Inventory (Maslach and Jackson). Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with SPSS 21 and AMOS 21 softwares and Bootstrap method was utilized to test the mediation effects. Results indicated that the hypothesized model of research were fited to data. The results also supported the role of mediation of areas of work life and occupational coping self-efficacy between authentic leadership and burnout. Manuscript profile

The aim of the current research is to determine the difference between resilience and coping strategies among volunteers and soldiers who participated in the war against ISIS. The research method was descriptive and causal-comparative. The population of interest in this study was all Kurdish volunteers and soldiers in all three provinces of Halabja, Sulaimaniyah and Erbil of Iraqi Kurdistan who participated in the war against ISIS. The sample of this study was selected through available sampling. Then, data were collected using Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale ( CD-RISC) and Endler and Parker’s Coping Inventory for Stressful Situations and analyzed by multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). The results of this study showed that there was no difference in resilience between volunteers and soldiers, but there was a significant difference in coping with stress scale. In terms of problem-oriented style and avoidance-oriented style, the difference was significant. Therefore, it turns out that there is no difference in emotion-focused coping. The main findings of this study confirm that special training courses are recommended to enhance resilience and help volunteers and soldiers to exprince reduce warfare stress. Manuscript profile

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between different types of pain coping styles and attentional bias to facial expressions of headache in people with migraines. To this end, 44 individuals with migraine and 43 healthy controls in the age range of 18 to 50 years were selected as a sample of this study through available sampling method. The materials that we used in this study were the “Coping styles” questionnaire and “Dot Probe task”. Mann Whitney and Kruskal Wallis tests were used to statistically analyze the data. The results show in terms of coping styles, there was a significant difference between the two groups. The control group used avoidance and problem-oriented styles significantly more than the individuals in migraine group. no significant difference between attentional bias towards facial expressions of headache in people with migraines and healthy controls. This finding potentially indicates that information processing with pain content in these people is carried out without any biases and probably has no role in maintaining the disease. However, attention to pain coping styles should be considered in the treatment process and teaching effective coping techniques. Manuscript profile

Since the corona epidemic, various studies have examined the psychological and physical effects of this disease and have considered several factors involved in the occurrence, increase and decrease of psychological distress resulting from this epidemic. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between coping schemes with stress, virtues in action and resilience with psychological distress during the corona epidemic. 200 students (137 women and 63 men) between the ages of 20-40 were randomly selected and responded online to questionnaires of the Coping Schemas with Stress (CSI-R), Virtues in Action (VIA), Connor and Davidson's Resilience (CD-RISC) and Kessler's psychological distress (K-10). Findings showed that the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between coping schemes with stress and psychological distress is significant. Relationships between coping schemas with stress with virtues in action were also significant. The relationship between virtues in action with psychological distress was not significant. The results of the study indicate that in periods of stress and crisis, such as the Corona epidemic, programs based on promoting resilience is preferred in reducing the level of psychological distress than Programs to change coping schemas with stress and programs to promote positive virtues. The present study was conducted with the aim of introducing and investigating the psychometric properties of the Persian version of the Premenstrual Coping Measure (PMCM (. This research, in terms of method, is a descriptive-cross-sectional-correlation study that its population included all the female students in Salman Farsi University of Kazeroon in the academic year of 2021-2022. The sample group included 303 female students who were selected by the available sampling method and actually participated in the present research by answering the online questionnaire. This questionnaire, in addition to the Persian version of the PMCM, included the Premenstrual Symptoms Screening Tool, Multidimensional Health Locus of Control-C, and the Menstrual Attitude Questionnaire. Research data has been analyzed in SPSS-22, AMOS-22 and JASP-09. The results of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis have confirmed the existence of a five-factor structure in the scores obtained from the Persian version of the premenstrual coping strategies scale. The values of Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald's omega also showed good internal consistency in the total scale and its five subscales. The correlation coefficients between PMCM, and three other research tools, while confirming the construct validity, suggested a close relationship between premenstrual strategies and an internal locus control for health and an attitude based on expectation and prediction of menstruation.
